Our Mission
Memoir Mate wants to tackle two of the most prominent problems of modern society:
The isolation of the elderly and the loss of local knowledge and traditions.
Our services target both issues. With our interviews (virtual or in-person) we want to establish a connection that goes beyond gathering information to craft a Memoir, we want to give back to the ones who gave to us for all their lives. And with the manuscripts we produce, we want to make sure your great-grandchildren will get to know your life and journey, and learn something valuable in the process.

How it Works
1. Introductory Call
A brief call to introduce each other and get a sense of what direction you would like your memoir to take
2. Interviews
Pick between a selected number of interviews or a monthly membership to meet for as long as you like.
3. Writing
We will transcribe, edit, format, and organize your manuscript into engaging and meaningful chapters. You will have the final say on what goes on the page.
5. Photos
Send us some of your most pertinent and meaningful pictures and we will include them along your words.
6. Approval & Delivery
Once the manuscript is approved, we will print and ship as many copies as you want.

Although our work is done, our mission lives on. We will always be available to meet again and be your Memoir Mate once more.
